Tom Bennett and Helene Galdin-O’Shea (researchEd founder and organiser extraordinaire) had put together an impressive programme of speakers.  Around 800 attendees were left with a dizzying range of sessions to choose from. SUPER members were involved in three separate sessions:

Nick and Clare launched an exciting new school ‘lesson study journal’ called ‘Anthecology’ as part of their very well received session. The journal can be downloaded here: http://www.samuelwhitbread.org.uk/docs/Anthecology_Lesson_Study_Booklet_2015_-_Whole_PDF_Website.pdf

Attending researchEd has been – yet again – a fantastic way to start the academic year and has given us lots to think about as we look forward to another year working together in our partnership. Thanks again to Tom and Helene, the sponsors, SHHS and the researchEd participants for making it such a success!

Watching Twitter from home demonstrated the huge following of rED2015 indeed it was ‘trending’ on Saturday. The launch of Research Ed which we all attended has built up an unstoppable momentum. SUPER very much there to share and gather what works well for busy teachers in busy schools…Research in schools is so messy but it is very much what we are all about. We can do it. Even if sometimes that messiness needs popping in a nice neat pitta bread sandwich of skill support and SUPER, to quote some of the tweets!
